Sub Octave English


Description:

Listed only by Irwin, who says: A Foundation stop, usually of Diapason tone, but occasionally a stopped or open Flute, at 16' manual pitch, and 32' pedal pitch. It is not a common stop-name. More common names for a sub-octave Diapason can be found at Sub Principal. Some common names for sub-octave stopped flutes can be found at Sub Bourdon.
