What little we know about these stop-names comes from Wedgwood: Heertrummel -- (Ger.) Heer (prefix) = military; Trommel = drum. Bärfusskirche, Erfurt; Schlossorgel, Dresden; St. Gotthard, Hildesheim. The organ at Sondershausen contained Rechte-Heertrommel (= right hand drum).
