Description:

Flauto Doris and Flauto Douce are listed only by Wedgwood, who says: 8 ft.; 4 ft.; (Fr.) Douce = sweet. According to Seidel, a Flute with pipes tapering slightly (Gemshorn shape). Flauto Douce is also synonymous with Flauto Dolce. The name Doris is listed only by Adlung, who says only �see below under Flauto or Flute douce�, and then never mentions it again.
