Echo Horn English

Description:

Listed only by Irwin, who says: A Reed stop of 8' manual pitch, resembling the Orchestral Horn stop (called French Horn) or brighter Waldhorn in timbre, but considerably softer than either. This name is not synonymous with Fernhorn, which is an Echo Nachthorn. In residence and theater organs the voicer may inject a little of the pungent Krumet quality.
