Irwin describes this stop as follows: A soft open Flute of 8' or 4' on the manuals, with a tone that is a hybrid between a small-scale open metal Flute and the diminutive, silvery effect of the Dulciana. The mouth cut-up is higher than in the Dulciana, making a tone of fewer harmonics. The pipes are cylindrical. Sumner also lists it, but says only A small scaled metal open stop witha pronounced flute quality in its soft voice.
